Overview
This documentary tells the story of the industrial heritage of the 19th and 20th centuries from the perspective of "industrial archaeology." Using drawings, photographs, and both historical and new film footage, the film focuses on the disappearance or decay of monumental inventions from the recent past, such as steam engines, old railway bridges, water towers, and factories.
