Overview
Charles, a talented but poor chemist, has become a wealthy man overnight. The industry is all about his new invention. But the next day, his wife suddenly dies. Nobody suspects anything bad at first, but then Detective Inspector Morland shows up and begins an insidious game of questions and answers.
