Biography

Shanil Deo is a filmmaker making his feature directorial debut with Dacoit, on which he also shares a writing credit. Born in Fiji to a family of Indian descent and raised in Oakland, California, Deo previously built his career as a cinematographer, with credits including Goodachari, Kshanam, Nishabdam, and Wild Dog.
