Biography

Jared Wee is a Malaysian writer and filmmaker based in Kuala Lumpur. He was a lifestyle journalist for The Malay Mail and a former intern at The Star.

He studied Digital Film Production at Sunway University in 2019, graduating with First Class Honours in 2022. During this time, he wrote and directed two short films: MATA (2020) and Welcome Home (2022). In 2024, he released a comedic short film After No (2024).
