Biography

Graduated from Riga Secondary School No. 5 in 1975. Graduated from Vocational School No. 2 in 1977. In 1982, studied at the preparatory courses of the Latvian Academy of Arts. In 1990, graduated from the Moscow Institute of Cinematography, Faculty of Actors' Film Directing.
