Biography

Jiyan Tolhildan (Selwa Yusuf) was a YPJ commander in the war against ISIS in North-East Syria.

She was murdered alongside her comrades Barîn Botan and Roj Xabûr in a Turkish drone strike in Qamishlo in July 2022.
