Biography

Adam Douglas Boyer was born in Eagle River, AK. In middle school he pursued filmmaking after working on the video announcements and performing in the state's official moose safety video. After attending the Art Institute of Seattle, he began his career working a wide gamut of departments, and eventually moved to Los Angeles. As a writer he has had multiple scripts recommended by the Black List including his kidnapping thriller/dark comedy STAR F*CKER which is currently in development. He wrote and acted in the upcoming comedy CUSTOMER COMES FIRST, which was directed by his frequent collaborator Matthew Rush. In 2022, Boyer returned to his home town to direct his debut feature UPHILL.
