Biography

An Iranian poet, writer, and filmmaker known for his dissent, born in the city of Ahvaz. Most of his works have been censored or banned. His career as a director includes two television series and five feature films.

He is the winner of the 2016 Moondance Award for adults and youth and has participated in international festivals such as Moscow, Busan, Durban (South Africa), and Kazan.
