Biography

Marcelo Miranda is a journalist and film critic based in Brazil. He researches Brazilian cinema and horror in both film and literature, and has curated films at several festivals across the country. As a reporter, he has covered numerous audiovisual events. Tooth-Puller is his first screenplay, written in collaboration with filmmaker Paulo Biscaia Filho and released as a short film in 2026.
